Habanero Cheese Grits

Ingredients

1/2 cup quick grits 
2 cup water
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Dash of garlic powder
1 tsp Emily’s Original Habanero Hot Sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Top with chopped scallions and/or more Emily’s Original Habanero Hot Sauce, if desired

 

Instructions

Bring water to a boil; slowly stir in grits; return to a boil Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 4-5 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Add cheese, garlic powder and Emily’s Original Habanero Hot Sauce. Turn off heat and stir until cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.
